:(
I can't stand what JC does to you. It puts you in a dilemma. You know you should be resting cos you're sick BUT if you rest, you'll fall behind in terms of schoolwork. Ugh.

And the creepy thing is, only the ex-NAS people seem to be falling sick. D:

Sick
I fell sick over the weekend and it was really horrible. I had a pretty high fever of 37.8 deg. celcius, a sore throat and a pretty violent cough. I'm recovering now but my body is still aching. It must be because of the violent cough.

I know it's only February, but I'm already thinking of what to do after my 'A' Level exams!

1) Take grade 4/5 violin practical exam.
2) Sign up for music theory lessons. $.$
3) Get a job.
4) Spend the last month or two of my post-'A'/pre-Uni break volunteering.

In the course of spring-cleaning my room, I chanced upon quite a few odd items such as my PSLE entry proof. I also recovered things which I thought I'd lost forever such as my Yamaha guitar bag and my music stand bag. But the best thing of all that I've recovered is this:

My polaroid camera and its (expired) film! It takes passport photo-sized polaroid pictures. The sad thing is, I don't think that the film is available anymore. Wikipedia says that sales discontinued in 2006. :( Such a waste.

So this is the neatest that my room has been for years!

4.14PM. I think I shall take a short nap before completing my homework and calling for McDelivery.

Hi
I just realized that I've not been blogging for about a week and a half. Time really flies when you're busy! I have so many things to juggle. Studies, guitar, choir, violin... I wonder how I managed them all last year. I must have been a superwoman. I've been busy with guitar stuff for the past few days. I went home pretty late and was so tired that I struggled to do my homework every single night. I could barely keep my eyes open! :(

The JC1s came today. So noisy but I think it's just a matter of getting used to having more people in school again!

I don't know if I have the time to update this space regularly anymore. But in any case, please keep me on your friends list cos I will read your journals regularly!

.
I have decided to just sit for tomorrow's Chemistry MCQ test without studying for it beforehand. Too late to start studying now. My fault for always putting off plans to study for this particular test. :(

On the left: 'Sunny side up'. On the right: 'Omelette'.

I'm such a kitchen idiot. I wanted to fry a sunny side up but it completely SLIPPED MY MIND that I was using the bigger frying pan. So when I saw the egg white spreading across the entire frying pan, I panicked and started doing all sorts of stupid things with the spatula in an attempt to save my sunny side up. :( Well, at least it looked edible... Oh and I have no idea why my omelette ended up looking like scrambled eggs. It tasted decent enough though!

I will never ever step into the kitchen again.

It's only been a week since school reopened but it feels as if a year as passed or something to that extent. I felt pretty tired throughout the entire week despite sleeping an average of 7 hours per night. Could be due to the dreary lectures and tutorials, I don't know. The worst thing was, I found myself looking forward to post-'A's (10 more months!) almost everyday... And it's only January!

Anyway, I was just reading Yvette's blog and found this:

1. 9 weeks (2 months plus) to March Block Test (not counting this week)
2. 23 weeks (less than 6 months) to Mid-Years (not counting this week)
3. 34 weeks (8 months plus) to Prelims (not counting this week)
4. 42 weeks (10 months plus) to ‘A’ Levels (not counting this week)

I hate you, Yvette, for doing this to me! I'm mildly freaking out right now. I can't believe this is my future that we're talking about. 42 more weeks, I shall make it. I don't want to spend my long break before Uni in regret and trepidation. Neither do I wish to be unable to qualify for Law School. If I don't make it there, I don't really know what else to do. Business? Math? Statistics (just because P&C has been very easy so far)?

The weekend before school reopened was spent with Cubi!

At Marche.

I went to 313@Somerset for the very first time and was overwhelmed by Forever 21, which covered 4 storeys. I need to stop being a hermit and go out more often. There are so many places that I've not been to, such as Orchard Central and Iluma! Then again, I need to study. Where do I draw the line?

Last Wednesday was our open house!

Library performance.

I loved it when everyone shouted,"NO SCHOOL! NO SCHOOL!" (Sadly, this did not materialize) and the MJ Boleh cheer and sang the college anthem! Open house was really a lot of fun. Who says JC students don't know how to have fun?!

It's 3.29pm now. I shall stop here for the sake of my future. :D
